DESCRIPTION:The Spring Vegan Festival​ is on TODAY! It’s time to get excited and dig out your stretchy pants so you can eat all the food! Here’s some important info… \nEntrance and exit is via Blackwood st and is wheelchair accessible. \nClick here to meet our stallholders and where to find them\, as well as meet the amazing musicians speakers and performers: \nhttp://www.veganfestival.com.au \nWant to know how to get there and where to park\, click here.  \nhttps://www.alv.org.au/festival/location/ \nWe’ll have two ATMs on site and some of our stallholders will have EFTPOS available. \nEntry is by open donation\, pay as you please! Whether you drop a gold coin\, a gold bullion or empty air into the box\, all are super welcome! \nALV is conscious of single use plastics\, so there won’t be plastic water bottles for sale\, please BYO your reusable bottle and refill at the tap in our garden area. \nWe <3 animals but this is a mostly inside venue which does not allow companion animals. \n— \nVegans take over the Meat Market! \nThe Spring Vegan Festival is an exciting new event taking place at the historic Meat Market in North Melbourne. The venue with a once dark history will be transformed into a day celebrating veganism\, ethical shopping\, vegan musicians and speakers\, an inspiring art exhibition and compassion for animals. \nAnimal Liberation Victoria are proud to bring you this event sponsored by the fantastic Vegan Perfection\, PRANA ON and The Uproar Vegan Store. We will be holding our first ever Vegan Easy Pop-up Cafe and there will be many of your other favourite food vendors\, so make sure you arrive hungry! \nEntry is by open donation\, pay as you please! Whether you drop a gold coin\, a gold bullion or empty air into the box\, all are welcome! \nOur MC Lindsay McDougall will be introducing you to our speakers and artists including the fantastic Ruby Gill\, ORCHA\, aerial artist Miranda That Circus Freak\, Melbourne Calisthenics and more! \nLook out for the pay it forward scheme at some of our stalls and food vendors\, where money donated will go to Food Not Bombs to help them distribute vegan food to those in need. \nMake sure you visit the art zone with some fantastic works displayed from amazing artists\, and you can vote for your favourite image in our Amateur Photo Competition. \nWe'll also have some fun activities for kids in our Kids Corner and amazing Goodie Bags on sale stuffed full with awesome products\, plus an additional chance to win a great prize if you find a golden ticket in yours!
