DESCRIPTION:The Wine and Cheese Fest is about good wine\, good cheese and a few other of life’s pleasures! \nWe’re proud to bring you a great selection of local and international producers for the 6th time!  Join us on Saturday 17 March ’18 at the atmospheric heritage Meat Market building in North Melbourne. \nMeet the local wine and cider makers\, cheese producers\, local beer brewers\, olive oil\, charcuterie and other smallgoods producers. The festival supports local\, hand-made products – come along to find out how they are made and how to best enjoy them! \nSee\, taste and learn about cheese making and wine tasting at one of the Master Classes (included in your entry ticket). Listen to live Jazz at the main stage while sipping on wines and eating cheese\, then head to the courtyard area to dance the calories away to some DJ beats.  \nAnd… for the more adventurous and young at heart\, be a part of the Grape Stomp Comp to win wine and cheese to take home.  \nTo assist our festival exhibitors\, we created a token system. Tokens are redeemable for 30ml to 50ml of wine/cider piccolo glass or one cheese tasting. This is to ensure our festival vendors are reimbursed adequately for their effort and festival goers have the opportunity to enjoy a bit of everything that’s on offer. \nTokens are available to be purchased as part of the tickets online (cheaper option) or at the venue on the day. You are welcome to opt in for a full glass or bottle of wine or a cheese platter at the festival to enjoy or take home. \nDue to the SELL OUT events over the last years\, the next festival will comprise of TWO SESSIONS to allow more confortable experience for all attendees.  \nSession #1:\n10.30am – 2.30pm  \nSession #2:\n3.30pm – 7.30pm  \nMasterclasses will be presented throughout the event – in both Session #1 and #2. The Grape Stomp Comp to be held at 1pm during Session #1. \nTickets (including all fees and taxes) for BOTH sessions on sale at the following prices: \nEntry + Festival Glass* to keep = $25 online or $30 at the door. \nEntry + 10 Tokens (worth $20) + Festival Glass* to keep = $40 online or $50 at the door \nWine Indulgence  (including Entry + Festival Glass* to keep + 15 tasting tokens + bottle of boutique wine** to take home – total value of over $90) = $65 online or $80 at the door \nTotal Wiine Indulgence (including Festival Glass to keep + Voucher for 4 glasses of wine at the courtyard bar + 20 tasting tokens + bottle of boutique wine** to take home – total value of $145) = $95 online or $120 at the door \nLast Minute Entry (last 30 minutes of each session) = $12.50 online or $20 at the door – Great for last minute takeaway shopping \n*The Festival Glass is of high quality BPA free material\, reusable and dishwasher safe.\n**The boutique bottle of wine can be collected on the way out of the festival. The bottle (RRP $25-$35) will be provided by one of the festival partners for 2018. \nTickets sell fast and are strictly limited!  To avoid disappointment\, buy early! Children under 15 can enter the Festival for Free but must be accompained by a guardian of legal age AT ALL TIMES. \nWhat are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? \nThe Meat Market in North Melbourne is easily accessible by many public transport options including trains\, trams and busses. We encourage all attendees to use of public transport on the day . However\, for the designated drivers\, there are ample free and paid carparking options around the venue.  \nWhat can I bring into the event? \nOnly food and drinks available at the Wine and Cheese Fest are to be consumed inside.\nNo dogs due to food regulations please.\nMost importantly\, bring your appetite! \nHow can I contact the organiser with any questions? \nPlease email us at cheers@wineandcheesefest.com.au \nor call us on 0420976847 Sotir \nWhat’s the refund policy? \nWe can refund you up to 3 weeks before the event. After that date\, please give/sell the ticket to someone else that could attend. No need of changing the name on the ticket. \nDo I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? \nYou can enter using your printed ticket\, or bring your e-ticket on a smart device for scanning. \nCan I update my registration information? \nYes\, online. \nIs my ticket transferrable? \nYes  \nIs it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends? \nThat’s fine. \nCan I stay to the 2 sessions with 1 ticket? \nNo. We will expect the attendees from the morning session to leave the event by 2.30pm.

DESCRIPTION:What better way to celebrate St Patricks Day\, then to eat Potatoes and drink beer\, right? This St Paddy’s day\, we’re honouring our favourite vegetable snack – The Potato Cake. Not to mention\, every other potato snack you can think of\, while washing it down with some green beer and Guinness. \nIt wouldn’t be St Paddy’s Day without live music too! \nDon’t forget to put on your best green look\, as the best dressed will win a $100 gift card. \n  \nFree potato cakes\, spuds\, live music and $8 Pints of Guinness? Now that’s how you celebrate St Paddy’s Day! The Ascot Lot\, the newest Food Truck Park to hit Melbourne\, has a potato cake and spud fest this Saturday with a selection of Food Trucks serving up the best Potato Cake and Spud-themed meals around. \nThe best part is potato cakes will be handed out for free all throughout the event…what did we do to deserve this!? \nJoining the Food Truck line-up includes Deep Thornbury serving up gourmet Potato Cake creations including smashed avo and halloumi stacks\, plus Twisted Spudz (speaks for itself) and Mamma Van dishing Nacho Fries and Poutine goodness. \nDrinking is a must on St. Paddy’s Day so the bar will be offering $8 Pints of Guinness\, Green Furphy and $10 Espresso Martinis to enjoy in the Drinking Hall and Beer Garden . \nAlcoholic POPs Popsicles will also be keeping everyone cool for just $5 a pop! \nSingalongs are the final non-negotiable with classic Irish tunes and live music all day and night. \nDon’t forget to bring your pooch\, as the entire venue including the drinking hall is pooch friendly so nobody misses out on the festivities! \nThe Ascot Lot will be open St Paddy’s Day (and every Saturday) 12pm – 10pm\, and runs year-round every weekend Friday – Sunday.
