SUMMARY:Footsteps - Coonawarra to Apollo Bay Food & Wine Trail
DESCRIPTION:The Footsteps – Coonawarra to Apollo Bay food and wine trail is an 11 day walking tour with some food and wine thrown in…..a walking person has to eat…Much in the spirit of the Spanish Camino we will walk\, and experience local foods and wines along the way as we pass through the rich wine country of the Coonawarra down to the Victorian coastline\, following the Great South West Walking trails and finishing with a road trip along the Great Ocean road via Apollo Bay to Melbourne… Couple of highlights – my favourite of course is a night in Kalangadoo\, a remote one pub township where the host will dazzle us with their menu and wine selection and then 2 nights in the beautiful coastal village of Cape Bridgewater where will will rest up with a free day to explore the seal colonies staying right on the beach. The whole itinerary is delightful and we will have ample time to experience the local area\, not often visited by us Queenslanders (where most of the group are travelling from).\nThere are 2 spots left on this Australian adventure…Get in touch if you are interested in learning more information

SUMMARY:Handpicked Wine Wedding Melbourne
DESCRIPTION:CELEBRATE THE HOLY UNION OF WINE …AND YOU \nThis season\, you are invited to join Handpicked Wines for the wine tasting of the year. Celebrate spring with Melbourne’s first ‘wine wedding’ – a feast of fine wine tastings\, toasties and music all atop the brand new Notel Melbourne rooftop space in Melbourne CBD – in vintage airstreams. This event sold out in Sydney in 2015 and is travelling to Melbourne for the first time ever. Don’t miss out! \nWhat is a wine wedding?\nWe see wine as a religious experience. A wine wedding is just like a regular wedding without all the boring bits – no long speeches\, weird aunts or expensive gifts required. Just good fashion\, fine wine\, confetti\, high quality snacks and music in an amazing location. \nWhat is included in the ticket price?\n– 6 unique wine tasting spaces in 6 airstream caravans\n– A range of premium spring and summer wines from the finest cool climate regions of Australia and New Zealand\, all from award-winning Handpicked Wines. The star attractions will be Handpicked’s Rosé\, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.\n– An amazing cheese toastie from Blakesfeast\n– Wedding favour treats\n– Music and a great crowd\n– One amazing prize for one lucky guest – a night’s accommodation in one of the Notel airstreams – so pack a toothbrush \nWhat should I wear?\nWe ran this event in Sydney last year and we had everything from runway fashion to 80’s bridesmaid dresses and even one zombie bride. Whatever your style\, prepare to frock up. Think Ru Paul level realness. \nTickets\nEarly bird tickets are $35 + booking fee (includes all wine plus a toastie and treats – and maybe one night’s accommodation if it’s your lucky day) \nRegular tickets are $45+ booking fee
