DESCRIPTION:Join us for an Italian Sunday Festa\, celebrating all things ricotta!\nAfter the huge success of our first Ricotta Festival in 2021\, the second edition is back bigger and better with plenty of food and entertainment for the whole family!\nWe will celebrate this day Italian-style\, serving up fresh hot ricotta straight from the vat and a variety of dishes and drinks for you to feast on. This includes ricotta gnocchi\, ravioli\, porchetta rolls\, sausages\, Gippsland Jersey milkshakes\, Cannoleria cannoli and cocktails from Imbue Distillery.\nPut your dancing shoes on as Siesta Cartel will be on stage performing Italian music all day. Entertainment also includes a petting farm for the little ones\, a local producer marketplace and educational talks by Giorgio Linguanti (founder of That’s Amore Cheese).\nJoin the Masterclass with Julia Ostro!\nMake your own ricotta gnocchi with cook and author Julia Busuttil Nishimura.\nJulia will be hosting two 45 minutes intimate masterclass sessions. During this hands-on experience\, you will learn how to make fluffy pillows of homemade ricotta gnocchi from her best selling cookbook Ostro\, while enjoying a glass of wine!\nTo be part of this masterclass you must purchase a ‘Premium Experience’ ticket. Olio Nuovo is the first pressed extra virgin olive oil from the initial olives harvested at the start of a season. This is the freshest olive oil you can get!\nAt this event\, you have the opportunity to meet the producer from Kyneton Olive Oil\, taste different types of olive oil\, and learn how it is made while watching live production on-site.\nThe first 20L of Olio Nuovo will be auctioned on the day and the proceeds will be donated to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre.\nWe will be serving a special menu with dishes featuring our That’s Amore Cheeses and Kyneton Olive Oil.
