DESCRIPTION:Melbourne Food & Wine Festival Event \nFeast & Make like a Viking\nTwilight feast & buttermilk cheese workshop. \nChannel your inner Viking at our Autumn twilight feast and buttermilk cheese workshop. We’re combining traditional Nordic cooking techniques with recipes using Victorian native bush ingredients and produce\, served outdoors on long shared tables. \nAs day turns to night be transported to a Nordic harvest festival – a celebration of good health\, good food and long life. We’re combining traditional Nordic cooking techniques with recipes using Victorian native bush ingredients and produce for an outdoors shared feast highlighting berries\, grains\, cured and pickled produce\, with a strong emphasis on game meat and blazing salmon. \nWe’ll be adding to the atmosphere with sheepskins and hay bales. And\, while we don’t think the Vikings were into fairy lights and candles\, we are\, so will be throwing them into the decorative mix (not literally\, of course). \nNot only will you feast like a Viking but also get the chance to try your hand at Scandinavian cooking with a buttermilk cheese workshop.

You can do this though our web site https://cometogether.org.au \nOpportunities come and go in life\, this is one you don’t want to be missing. Appearing for his only Melbourne show PHIL HARTNOLL of Orbital. \nReally he needs no introduction\, as one half of the world renowned dance band Orbital\, Phil has co produced some of the most ground breaking works in the history of electronic music. Additionally\, he has established himself as a prominent solo Dj through his extensive playing over the last ten years.\nDue to his parallel roles as a solo Dj and as half of Orbital\, Phil’s gigs most often coincide with live performances\, and are therefore exclusive and esteemed. These performances are in high demand wherever he goes\,as his reputation as a solo artist has grown to match that of his live Orbital performances. \nPhil’s Dj gigs in 2016 include noteworthy locations such as Ministry of Sound London\, Ibiza\, Madrid\, Valencia and Asia alongside the likes of Mark Knight\, Basement Jaxx and Marco Bailey. \nOrbital also have there first album out in 8 years “Wonky”. Both timeless and contemporary\, Wonky puts a vividly modern spin on their signature blend of richly melodic\, deeply emotive electronica.\nPhil is currently working on his own productions and remixes due for release this year.
