The parade starts at 12.30pm on Saturday at Nicholson Street and Johnston Street. \nThis year marks a very special milestone celebrating 4 decades in the precinct. For 40 years\, generations of residents and visitors from other parts of the city and state have grown up with this annual cultural institution in the heart of our Spanish precinct. \nFitzroy will once again come alive with colour\, music and dance\, in a spectacular cultural celebration. \nFrom live bands to traditional and contemporary dance performances\, to the famous Sunday street parade\, there is something for everyone to enjoy! \nThe sensational culinary offerings are also not to be missed. \nDelivery of this popular festival takes considerable effort. DESCRIPTION:The Spring Vegan Festival is back for 2018 and this year we are southside in St Kilda to celebrate food\, life and freedom. \nFollowing the huge success of our inaugural Spring Vegan Festival in 2017\, we are busy working on making this year’s festival even bigger and better. \nIn addition\, we are excited to announce that the festival will mark Animal Liberation Victoria‘s 40th anniversary of saving lives. \nWe’ll have more details for you soon\, but in the meantime mark Sunday\, September 16 in your diary! \nOur stallholder applications will be available in early May.
