Sizzlefest

It’s a fact: all food tastes better when it’s cooked outside on a barbecue. Prahran Market is really getting behind barbecued food this summer, hosting a festival dedicated to all things cooked al fresco.

Sizzlefest is Prahran Market’s annual festival for people who eat, live and breathe barbecue. Head over to the famous foodie market on Sunday, February 2 for a one-day festival featuring cooking demonstrations, entertainment, competitions and lots and lots of delicious food.

The market’s butchers will be cooking a tasting feast of barbecued foods on the day. While there will naturally be lots of juicy meat dishes, veggos and pescatarians will also be able to find something to eat. Check out the cooking demonstrations from Burn City Smokers, Hoy Pinoy and Bodriggy Brewing Company for those looking to improve their at-home barbecuing and then relax in the market square with entertainment. 

Guests will also be able to help decide the best sausage in the Prahran Market as part of the Sausage Tasting Competition.
