Dine Out
Dates: Monday 4 to Sunday 10 August
Location: Various
Cost: TBA
Premiering this August, Dine Out is a week-long, city-wide celebration of Melbourne’s best chefs, restaurants, bars, bakeries and much more. The aim is to warm up your winter and getting you to support the creativity and passion of home-grown talents.
With 40 events, there will be venue swaps, collaborations, one-off menus and other food experiences. The headline events will be ticketed, and you’ll be able to walk into many others.
Melbourne Wine, Cheese and Spirits Festival
Date: Saturday 23 August, 12 noon to 7pm
Location: Seaworks, 82 Nelson Place, Williamstown
Cost: General admission $49, seat at reserved table $59, reserved tables for 6-10 guests from $350
Discover Victoria’s rich diversity of artisanal products. Indulge in a selection of rare and unique cheeses, wines and spirits, most of which you won’t find in mainstream retailers. Enjoy tastings, live music and DJ sets as you explore food trucks and relax in headed undercover areas.

Swiss Festival
Date: Saturday 2 August
Location: Seaworks, 82 Nelson Place, Williamstown
Cost: early bird $10, general admission $15
The Swiss Festival stands out as the only event dedicated to showcasing Switzerland’s rich and multifaceted culture. See and learn about Swiss traditions, cuisine, business and community spirit in Australia. A full list of culinary partners is coming soon, but you’ll be able to taste some of Switzerland’s world-famous cheeses from The Alpine Express (The Red Cow) and the finest chocolate from Lindt.

St Kilda Spirits Festival
Dates: Friday 15 August – Sunday 17 August
Location: St Kilda Town Hall
Cost: 3hr tasting session $70, Masterclass ticket $90
You’ll have unlimited tasting samples and opportunities to chat with local and international craft distillers and sample their creations. Food trucks will complement your tastings. A masterclass ticket enables you to attend gin, whiskey and vodka masterclasses.
