Wow, December already. The year has flown. How are we all doing our little foodie fam? Christmas is just around the corner (sorry, not sorry), but we can stuff ourselves with a few foodie festivals before the Christmas feast. And what a month to do it with all these diverse cultural offerings. Yum!
Jamaican Music&Food Festival
Dates: Saturday 3rd
Location: Seaworks, Williamstown

It’s back again and you better be there. Experience everything the Jamaican culture has to offer at Jamaican Music and Food Festivals. This event also encourages participation of all diverse communities. Enjoy Jamaican delicacies with everything from cutting-edge food designs to personal family recipes. World Orama Festival
Dates: 1st to 3rd
Location: Showgrounds Rd, Whittlesea
Cost: Family tickets $25 – 2 adults + 3 children 5-15. Under 5 Free.
Come experience a cultural event celebrating diversity, unity, and cultural heritage. This inclusive event invites people to gather, connect, and savour the beauty of unity. Summer Nesian Festival

Location: President’s Park, Wyndham Vale

This is a one-day event celebrating New Zealand and Polynesian culture that simply must be on your calendar. Notable, the Summer Nesian Festival includes Pacifika Cultural Stalls and Food Trucks to cater to all your foodie needs. Oh, and you know how I mentioned Christmas? Well, the Pacifika Markets offer last-minute Christmas shopping! Not to mention, it’s a licensed event so looks like all the boxes are ticked!
Chanukah and the Foreshore

This is a short one but worth the visit. The annual Chanukah and the Foreshore event attracts people from all over Melbourne for a family-friendly celebration of the Jewish Festival of Chanukah and for good reason. There is nothing quite like embracing another culture and there is sure to be brisket and latkes aplenty!
