After the success of the inaugural Bastille Day French Festival in 2015, Francophiles and the wider Victorian community can look forward to a program of free, accessible and family oriented activities to celebrate the French National Day and experience French language, food and culture.

With the support of the City of Melbourne and the French community in Victoria, the festival showcases cultural activities related to France with stalls and stands from various participants.

In particular, people will get a taste of all things French in Melbourne: theatre, film, and children’s activities and of course a large selection of French food and wine.

The festival is held in and around the prestigious and historic surrounds of the State Library Victoria, truly uniting French and Australian history and culture.
