Get your diaries out and put a big ole’ mustard-coloured ring around Tuesday August 16th, because it’s the date of Time Out Melbourne’s inaugural Battle of the Burger, presented in partnership with McCracken’s Amber Ale.

We are searching for the city’s best burger and we want to know who’s cooking up your favourite hot sandwich. Do you love a classic Aussie works burger form your local greasy spoon? Or are you a fan of an American-style cheeseburger complete with orange cheese and diced pickled onions.

Doesn’t matter whether it’s from a café, bar, pub, restaurant, diner, milk bar or food truck – they can all be in the running for the crown. All you need to do is head to our People’s Choice nomination page (http://bit.ly/vote4burger) and cast a vote for the burger that rules your heart.

The finalists will then battle it out at a massive burger party hosted by Time Out at Fancy Hank’s BBQ Joint and tickets are on sale now. Entry to the event will cost you $40 and guests will receive 4 x half burgers (basically you get to try a half of each burger) and unlimited McCrackens beer and soft drinks for $40 up until 10:30pm.
