Bonjour!

Welcome to my French cooking and language class at the beautiful Elwood Sailing Club.

In this event series I will provide you with a short history into quick and easy classic French recipes; teach you some basic French cooking terminology and pronunciation- all while providing you with a short cooking demonstration of some typical recipes as they are traditionally prepared- such as: Quiche Lorraine; Tarte aux Pommes; Choux pastry, Crème Patissiere, Caramel; Crepe – ficelle picarde; Omelette or scrambled eggs; Gnocchi (French style); Chantilly crème or Crème anglaise etc….

I look forward to having some fun with you all- for this event I will cook tarte aux pommes!
