❄ Donut Fest returns this August at Batman Royale with a brand new Winter Edition – powered by Eventbrite and Square. We’re doing things bigger and better showcasing two of our favourite things DONUTS ? & BEER ?. Think hot chocolate, mulled wine, hot jam donuts, coffee, plenty of outdoor heating and cheery festoon lighting.

? The event will be running over TWO days with two sessions per day: 11am-3pm / 4pm-8pm.

?Early bird tickets (ends August 9th) : $10 includes our official Donut Fest beer taster
General tickets (ends 19th August) : $15

? We even have our own OFFICIAL DONUT FEST BEER – a doughnut-friendly beer made from sessional amber ale with a touch of caramel malt developed exclusively for us by Kooinda Brewery! (It is so good.)

? Prepare your appetite as we have 36 food and beverage vendors ranging from food stalls, food trucks, beverages. You can try donuts from around the world such as Argentina, Greece, Hungary, South Africa, America, Denmark, Australia and even Nutella donut burgers to glow in the dark donuts.

? Yet Donut Fest is not just another food market; our festive holey experience includes;

? Donut Fest is a 100% cashless event. Meaning your ticket is scanned and put onto a card (think:debit card) that can be used on the day like paypass to start buying food and drinks! This means less lines and faster transactions and more time for you to enjoy the fest (See FAQs below).

? FareShare is our chosen charity for the Winter Edition. FareShare rescues surplus food and cooks free, nutritious meals for Victorians doing it tough. A portion of each ticket sold goes towards this cause.

How do I get there?
Tram: Stop 37 Gaffney St – Tram 19 North Coburg.
Train: Batman Station – Upfield Line (Zone 1 & 2). Right outside venue!
Car parking: free 250 car spots on site.

What is an early bird ticket?
Early Bird tickets (just $10) are on sale now and include fast entry, a token to vote for Melbourne’s best donut and a taster of the official festival beer.

Will tickets be available on the door?
Only if there are any available left from online sales. We cap numbers to ensure everyone has a great time. We strongly suggest buying tickets prior to ensure you don’t miss out.

I’ve changed my mind. Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately refunds on tickets are unavailable. Please consider carefully before completing your ticket purchase. If you’re unable to use your tickets, they can be transferred to another person, provided that person also meets the age requirements of the ticket type.

What do I need to bring with me to the event?
Please bring your ticket(s), either printed out or ready on email or your Eventbrite app (available on the App Store or Google Play), as well as photo ID for proof of age.

What happens when I get there?
On arrival, your ticket will be scanned and you’ll be given an Entry Keycard. This is your key to DONUT FEST, and you can load it up with money at the festival.

How does this Keycard work?
DONUT FEST is a 100% cashless event. With no cash to handle, this helps our vendors and bar process transactions quickly, which means more time for you to enjoy the food and drinks. It acts like a debit card where you just tap and go at each stall. The money will be deducted immediately from your card and you will be able to see your remaining balance. The whole transaction takes less than 5 seconds.

How can I put money on the Keycard?

We have two Top Up stations at the venue where you can use money or eftpos to load money onto the Keycard. It is a super fast process (faster than withdrawing money out of an ATM!). There is a no transaction fee.

If I don’t use all my money, can I get a refund?

Donut fear! Refund payments can be done online from Tuesday 22nd August (9am) to Friday 29th August (midnight). Refunds will then be processed from Monday 28th August (9am)and into your account. Just make sure you hang on to your DONUT FEST keycard as you’ll need the number printed on it to claim your refund. There is a transaction fee of $2 for online refund payments. Visit our between these dates to arrange your refund. Please note this only applies to Australian Bank Accounts only.
