Be inspired by the exhibition Love: Art of Emotion before joining Head Chef Nuno Gabriel for an interactive dinner where you will be encouraged to explore the feelings – indeed the love – created by food. Learn to plate like the experts, and experience the excitement of seeing your very own masterpiece emerge before you.

Head Chef Nuno Gabriel and Peter Rowland Catering will combine their love of food and wine with the NGV’s love of art and visual elements. Using the upcoming Love exhibition as inspiration, guests will be encouraged to explore connections and feelings created by food.

The three-course dinner with matching wines will include an interactive food art class where guests will become artists, creating their own still life on the plate using produce grown in the NGV’s rooftop garden. Pictorial diagrams will be provided to help you create the perfect smear, or placement of a favourite ingredient. Plating food will never be the same again.
