Join THE B.EAST & Melbourne Hot Sauce for the official Melbourne Chilli Eating Championship 2018!

THINK YOU CAN YOU STAND THE HEAT? REGISTER!
-Entry is officially registered with the payment of the fee at The B.East, 80 Lygon Street, Brunswick East.
-Entry is strictly first-in, best dressed.
-Entrants must sign an indemnity waiver upon payment of the fee.
-Registration fee is $10.

THE EVENT DAY
-HOW MUCH HEAT CAN YOU HANDLE? B.EAST & MHS SPECIAL CHILLI MENU FROM 12PM + BEER & TEQUILA SPECIALS
-THE CHAMPIONSHIP – From 2pm
-CHAMPIONSHIP CONCLUSION 6PM
-BANDS 10PM

WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS?
Kicking off 2 x 12 Rounds from 2pm in a KO event.
-Rounds will start off easy and getting progressively hotter.
-Rounds will vary from fresh pods to chilli spiked foods, starting with Jalapenos, and progressing to Carolina Reapers and beyond!!!
– If competitor is vegan/vegetarian/has any allergies whatsoever, they must stipulate upon application to the competition and we can accommodate you.
24 competitor spots available.
x2 heats.
Final/third round for placings.

RULES
-Disqualification is by way off knock out, tap out, pass out or spew out!
-Competitors will be given NO napkins.
-A pint of beer and a glass of milk to taunt you into tapping out.
You will be given a spew bucket.

FIRST PRIZE
– $500 cold hard cash
– 1 Bottle event exclusive Melbourne Chilli Championship hot sauce
– 1 Slab of beer
– 12 Pack hot Sauce from Melbourne Hot Sauce

OTHER CHAMPIONSHIP INFO
The event will be hosted by chief wise-crack YETI of The B.East’s Heavy Metal Trivia, Richard from Melbourne Hot Sauce and B.EAST head chef Jarrod Moore. They will collectively be spilling the chilli facts and taunting the competitors throughout the event.

With a chilli menu B.East-style and booze specials all day, Melbourne Hot Sauce will also be holding market style merch and hot sauce tastings, not to mention an exclusive 100 bottle ONLY hot sauce collaboration between The B.East & Melbourne Hot, available only on the day.
