Polish Festival at Fed Square
12 November, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

A showcase of Poland’s famous hospitality, hearty food and romantic traditions, the festival, now in its 13th year, features song and dance, merchandise and culinary delights guaranteed to transport you to the historical town squares of Europe.
All Melburnians are invited to indulge in the mouth-watering foods on offer such as pierogi (stuffed dumplings), bigos (hunter’s stew) and kielbasa (sausage), as well as a huge assortment of traditional cakes and pastries. Enjoy live music and the swirling colours of traditional dancers and folk-inspired art, or take a break and be swept away by beautiful Chopin etudes played by some of Australia’s top pianists.
Take the kids along to Deakin Edge for an interactive music show for children, and then to KidStop where they can make wianki (wreaths), Christmas decorations and masks of Smok Wawelski (the Wawel Dragon)!
Whether you love it for the lively, old-world atmosphere, unique shopping or just the tasty food and beer, this festival has something for everyone.
