Welcome to February food festivals 2023 and another selection of fantastic foodie events to get your tastebuds ready for March.

Time flies when you’re eating, drinking, and loving life! Before we dive in, we have a very important announcement: February 5th is World Nutella day! Do with that as you must. For now, let’s get into it, shall we?

Hidden Vineyard – Bubbles & High Cheese

 

The festival so well hidden, we don’t know where it is! We know it is somewhere in the Melbourne CBD and that prior to the event.

Yu willl receive a Google Maps pin with the location.

Enjoy your High-Cheese (high tea,,, but cheese) with a variety of cheeses to sample including delicious cheese-based desserts. Sample their vineyard offerings with an ‘expert bubbles team’ on hand to help. If you love cheese and wine, this is the place to be… once you know where it is.

Lonsdale Street Festival

 

Formerly the Antipodes Festival, the Lonsdale Street Festival is a mighty street party celebrating Melbourne’s Greek community.

It is a celebration of their culture and we know the significance of food in Greek culture.

How many Loukoumades can you eat in one minute? With over 60 food and drink stalls, this is a great foodie event to connect with the Greek culture or explore it for the first time.

Ice Cream Festival

 

Yes, that’s right – a festival for the foodies with a seriously sweet tooth.

This is an annual event celebrating the end of summer and what better way to do that than indulging in handcrafted artisan flavours? New flavours will be introduced every day of the festival including those that cater to dietary requirements and preferences.

Friday through Sunday you can enjoy a 40-minute hosted tasting session – try 12 flavours with fun toppings. What better excuse to stuff yourself full of sugar than an ice cream festival?

February food festivals 2023

150km Feast

 

This one is regional, but it’s worth the trek.

The 150km Feast is a foodie’s delight as an annual harvest festival of food, wine, and beer from the Horsham agricultural society.

In its third year, this festival brings together and celebrates the region’s farmers, winemakers, growers, and producers.

With a beautiful setting overlooking the Wimmera River, local chefs provide a meal menu using locally sourced fresh produce. This event is a quintessential foodie’s playground and celebration of community achievement. So, why not join them?
