Ah, the month of love. Valentine’s Day. Or as we foodies like to call it… Valentine’s Day. We’re workshopping it. Anyway, let’s get into this month’s festivals of yum!
Antipodes
Dates: 24th – 25th
Location: Lonsdale Street, Melbourne
Cost: Free
Oh, we love this time of year because we love the Antipodes street festival. Let’s celebrate Melbourne’s Greek community’s culture. Yep, it’s time to feast on all the Greek food deliciousness again at one of the February Food Festivals 2024. Is your mouth already watering? Ours are! Grab a souvlaki and loukoumades and celebrate just because you can.
Ice Cream Festival
Dates: 7th – 18th
Location: Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery
Cost: Free entry ($24 for hosted tasting)
It’s the sweetest one of our February Food Festivals 2024 in Victoria and it’s back again to keep your dentist in business. With dozens of artisan flavours and new flavours every day of the festival, you’re sure to find something to your taste. And yes, they have dairy-free and gluten-free offerings. Don’t miss out on ice cream-inspired desserts and beverages in the cafe and for the ultimate chill, book a hosted tasting session in a private room. Let the sweet adventure begin.
Melbourne BeerFest
Dates: 24th
Location: Catani Gardens, St Kilda

Okay, it’s not a food festival, or wine festival for that matter, but we are Aussies so how can we not mention the Melbourne Beerfest? Featuring 350+ craft beers, ciders, and cocktails, this is a unique event. But don’t worry, because there will be plenty of gourmet local food on offer because no drinking on an empty stomach! As if us foodies need to be reminded. This February Food Festival 2024 promises to be a day of diverse offerings and fun so head along and drink responsibly.
Moonee Valley Festival 2024
Dates: 24th
Location: Queens Park, Moonee Ponds
Cost: Free entry
Head on into the Moonee Valley Festival 2024 for a day of community celebration. Market stalls and food vendors will be aplenty representing local produce. Expect a few yummy food truck offerings too. This one will have plenty to see, do, and eat for the whole family so come along and enjoy.
150km Feast
Dates: 24th and 25th
Location: Horsham Showgrounds
Cost: $150 18+ (includes food, drink, and entertainment)
Sometimes, it’s worth going a little further for something a little special. Explore the 150km Feast, a unique food festival named after the 150-kilometer radius limit within which all its ingredients are sourced. Nicely played! Join chefs in live cooking demonstrations, witness their culinary skills, and gain insights into sustainable dining practices while celebrating local produce. With interactive tastings, the 150km Feast goes beyond being just a culinary event.
