It might be getting cold out, but winter is the perfect time to warm up with July Food Festivals.

Another month, another fantastic line-up of food festivals and events in store for Melbournians. July Food Festivals promise to fill your hearts with excitement and your bellies with a delicious assortment of delicacies.

All July food festivals are, of course, subject to restrictions and, while it is our sincerest hope that none of these tasty events are cancelled or postponed, please see the event organisers’ websites for updates.

Cake Bake and Sweets Show

Attention fellow sweet-tooths; Australia’s biggest home-baker event is coming to Melbourne this July! Extending across three cake-and-sweet-filled days, The Cake Bake and Sweets Show is devoted to the art of baking and features live demonstrations, hands-on classes, sampling, sales and more. A variety of ticket options are available; the most zealous sweet fans might opt for the VIP experience to enjoy amazing inclusions such as unlimited food and drink, plus the chance to meet-and-greet their favourite celebrity chefs.

Indian Mela

What better way to warm your bellies on a winter day than with some exquisite Indian cuisine? This year’s Indian Mela promises a menu filled with curries, dhals, tikkas, and more. With free entry plus dancing and music to keep you entertained all day, we don’t see how you could turn down such an opportunity to celebrate the rich culture of India.

Pinot Palooza: UnPlugged

In celebration of its 10-year anniversary, Pinot Palooza are doing things differently in 2021. Adopting a laid-back approach in the lead up to the main celebration later this year and hosting several smaller festivals, each event in the 2021 UnPlugged series will highlight the amazing wines of a different region. July will see two of these events, celebrating the wine-industry of the Gippsland and Geelong areas. An afternoon of top-quality music, food, beers and wine awaits, so grab those tickets before they’re all gone!

Winter Wine Weekend

A weekend spent sampling some of the best wines the Mornington Peninsula has to offer- where do we sign up? The Mornington Peninsula Vignerons Association invites you to Red Hill Showgrounds, where they will showcase more than 200 wines from 45+ wineries. Coupled with a perfectly paired menu, these wines will honour the region’s fantastic diversity arising from its unique climate and terroir. But get in quick; tickets are limited and in high demand.
