We’re closing in on summer and the temperature is quite literally, rising. So remember to be sun-smart when outdoors because we have ALL the festivals coming your way this month.

Melbourne International Dumpling Festival

Dates: Monday 6th 4pm-10pm

Location: Queen Victoria Markets

Cost: Free entry (but bring plenty of moolah for ALL the dumplings)

Did someone say dumplings? Oh yeah, we did. This event was postponed from March so, boy, are we ready! Get your taste buds revved up because the Melbourne International Dumpling Festival is about to take you on a wild, doughy ride. Dumplings reign supreme, baskets steam, and pans sizzle. The Vegan Market

Dates: Saturday 18th – Sunday 19th

Location: Seaworks Maritime Precinct, Williamstown

East Malvern Food and Wine Festival

Dates: Sunday 19th

Location: Central Park, Malvern East

Cost: Free entry

Grab a hat and your sunnies and head out for a day at the park. The annual East Malvern Food and Wine Festival is back for its sixth year with some of the best wines from across Victoria. Of course, they’ll pair perfectly with any treat be it from one of the many gourmet food vendors, local produce sellers, or dessert artisans!

African Music and Cultural Festival

Dates: Friday 17th to Sunday 19th

Location: Federation Square, Melbourne

Cost: Free entry

It’s their ninth year and it’s become so popular that this year, for the first time, they’ve extended the festival over three days.
