Melbourne Food Festivals takes a look at the oldest running Wine Festival in Victoria, the annual Winery Walkabout hosted by the Winemakers of Rutherglen.

The event has been running since 1974, making it Victoria’s longest running and one of the biggest wine festivals throughout Australia.

The event is just not an ordinary winery tour, the wineries participating in Winery Walkabout set up markets, food vans (yes!), masterclasses, buffet breakfasts, VIP tasting areas and much more.
