The World’s 50 Best Restaurant’s award will be held in Melbourne for 2017 – making it only the second time that this prestigious event will be held outside of London.

Tourism Australia, together with Visit Victoria and Wine Australa will help host and market the event, and we in Melbourne are proud to host this international and noted event. There will be a range of linked and themed events around Australia to co-incide with the main event in Melbourne.

Almost 1000 international VIP’s from the restaurant and foodie community cast their votes for the World’s 50 Best Restaurant awards, a number of restaurants are no stranger to the event.

Acclaimed Melbourne restaurant, Attica was ranked 33rd for the 2016 awards, and Sydney counterpart Sepia was awarded the One to Watch award.

Melbourne Food Festivals will be keeping a keen eye to see what will be popping up around the awards season!
